Book: "Climate Change Evidence & Causes"

The U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the British Royal Academy teamed up to write “Climate Change Evidence & Causes – An Overview from the Royal Society and the US National Academy of Sciences”, a new book that gives bite-size answers to common questions about climate change and global warming.

Leading climate scientists answer 20 questions, such as:

In tune with both societies’ missions “to promote the use of science to benefit society and to inform critical policy debates” the freely downloadable booklet alsouses charts, graphs, maps, and images to give insights into basics like the greenhouse effect, atmospheric CO2 concentration, global temperatures since 1850, and future temperature projections. It closes with a list of other publications by the two adacemies and websites that provided climate data for this publication.
